Last Saturday saw a great celebration of a remarkable milestone in the history of our Club. Members of all generations gathered to celebrate the golden anniversary of life at Garryduff. While the Club was founded in 1870, on the 15th June 1974, the clubhouse and facilities were officially opened at it’s new location in Rochestown.

Carol Jermyn was joined by past President, Jim Good, in a toast to the Club surrounded by members, friends and family. Jim Good was front and centre in the huge effort of the members over 50 years ago who had the foresight to recognise that the move out to Garryduff would enable the Club to continue to grow and develop.

There were great festivities and sporting activities throughout the day as everyone gathered to celebrate the past, the present and the future of the Club. We raised a glass together to 50 years of incredible memories and many more decades of sporting success, friendship and camaraderie.
